Stefania Eucalipti

I have been drawing since I was little, for me the application of color is life, when I paint I try to interpret what I see and not make a simple copy of it, hoping to affirm my personality.

Over time my style has changed; infact from my portfolio you can observe the evolution: the line, unheard for a long time by me, frees itself and commands, becoming from a simple contour line also a body figure.

My line is very strong and expressive and it was a shame to erase it with oil paint.

Now I prefer to start from a white canvas, mark the contours and the body figure with a black color and put some diluted acrylic paint.

My art evolution derives from the study of traditional Chinese painting: oriental images made by china on paper are lighter than western oil paintings which may be for somebody like painted sculptures.
