An early September morning, when the family was still asleep, I was able to sneak out for a bike ride. As with so many times before, I had my camera along for the ride. It was a beautiful morning and I purposely chose a route that would take me by afield that I had seen so many times before. The dawn was beautiful, mist was low and the colors blended together perfectly creating a soft, almost surreal moment in time. I was reminded by many of the stories I was told as a child, that the mist, in reality was ferries dancing in the fields. And as I watched I could almost see them come alive.
